Portfolio Assistant

Kai joined the Fund for New York City Public Schools in 2026 as a Portfolio Assistant. In her role, she provides support to the Fund’s Chief Development Officer and portfolio team by carrying out tasks including, but not limited to, maintaining internal documents, tracking grant deliverables, and prospect research.

Kai has been working in the nonprofit sector for ten years in a variety of administrative, operations and development roles with organizations such as the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, African Parks Foundation of America, and Weeksville Heritage Center.

She received her B.A. in Africana Studies from CUNY-Brooklyn College.
